Winding up a narrow jungle road above central Ubud, Jungle Fish is one of those places you feel lucky to have found. The main draw is the extraordinary infinity pool that seems to pour directly into the jungle canopy below. Teak loungers, craft cocktails, and the sound of distant gamelan from a village somewhere in the valley. A rotating roster of local acoustic musicians plays on Thursday and Sunday evenings. Food is simple but excellent — think fresh coconut bowls and sharing plates. Mobile signal is weak here, which most visitors count as a feature, not a bug.
