Perched directly above Uluwatu's famous surf break, Single Fin has the most dramatic setting of any club in Bali. Three levels of open-air terraces look straight down at the breaking waves. During the day it's a casual beach café popular with surfers. On Sunday evenings, the weekly Single Fin Sessions take over — a DJ plays as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean, and the crowd (equal parts hardcore locals, surfers, and tourists) dances on every level. Entry is free. Drinks are reasonably priced. The vibe is infectious.
